The Israeli Airline Pilots Association – ISRALPA- was established on 1976.

Members of ISRALPA are pilots from EL AL, ISRAIR, CAL, ARKIA and  ISRAEL AIRCRAFT INDUSTRIES. The association is also the representative of ELAL and CAL flight engineers. The association chairman is Capt. Yossi Shub, a Captain of a Boeing 777 in EL AL. The national council is the elected forum of the association. Its members are being elected once every two years. The representation of each airline pilot group is related to its member number.

An Israeli pilot is entitled to become a member of the association if he or she has a valid commercial pilot license and is earning a living out of flying.
